For many, the existences of several types of spirit Beings is difficult to perceive. The human ego tends to tell itself that mankind is a superior form, and thus the only Being capable of possessing 'spirit', as well as having spiritual 'worth'.  But, one has only to look deeply into the life-filled eyes of a pet dog or cat to 'see' that there is more to our animal companions than their physical structures.

Assuming, for the moment, that I have just that easily convinced an otherwise pessimistic non-believer that perhaps mankind does not have a monopoly on variations of spirit forms, how can we not take this a step further...

How could it not be probable that just as there are many, many varieties of life-forms here on earth - there would be many varieties of spirit forms as well?

Mankind instinctively tries to believe that (other than a benevolent God which they may worship) they are at the top of the spiritual totem-pole.  Perhaps this is because of an innate fear of Powers greater than ourselves - or, fear of 'that which is unseen' all together. However, I pose; That a person can close their eyes, and the world outside will remain the same - whether or not one chooses to look at it.  And, the world is not flat.  -Exploration of the unknown has its benefits.

There are innumerable types of Deities and Entities of spiritual nature which exist upon the unseen and limitless planes of the Etheric Realms, many of which are quite capable of interacting with mankind, and are very much accessible to those who possess the "knowing". These Beings include every category from Angelic Hosts and Mighty Gods and Goddesses, to personal Spiritual Guides (Guardian Angels), Elemental forces, Wood-sprites, and etc.

Those which are capable of interacting with mankind, we must assume, are capable of doing so for a reason, as, again, it is unlikely that the Spirit Realms share in 'accidental circumstances' which are common here among our very fallible earthly realm. To be of Spiritual Nature is in essence an entitlement of superiority with itself.

We have but two choices here: We can ignore or 'hide from' the many Deities which periodically reside among us... Or, we may 'embrace' them, and utilize them in accordance with their individual natures and purposes.

In all Occult studies, including that of Wicca, the latter is obviously the necessary choice. It is by way of communing with the vast array of Spiritual Entities by which we become 'gifted' with the supreme knowledge of their Sacred Realms.  Herein lies the true 'magicks'.
